Our effort in Apavi Organic Circular Farm is to ensure that on waste or minimal waste is generated on our farm. The waste from one part of the farm is recycle into another part of the farm useful input, a nutritious into another part of the farm. For example, we are raising rabbits. Apart from the fact that rabbit meat is one of the best meats in the world health wise, we know from science that rabbit poop and urine are very good as plant nutrition and pesticide respectively. The same thing applies when we go into aquaponics. We know for sure that the waste from fish, after a period of two years, becomes pure nitrates, and that would enable us to use that also on our farm and also sell to local farms. That is why we call our farm Organic Circular Farm. Nothing is wasted. Even what I call cooking nitrates, the grasses we cut, we bury them in the ground for a period of three months, and when they come up, they become very pure manure. We have no intention whatsoever of wasting anything and we have no intension of using chemical of any type on our farm. And as we establish and people know us, we'll also be able to sell this ideas to Nigerian farmers. That will not only save them money from buying fertilizers. It will help them to understand what their plants need and what they can provide without paying it.
